THE FRIGHTENING ASPECTS OF TERRORISM

Bravo to PBS last night for this informative and eye-opening account about the current state of fundamentalist terrorists and their scary grip on Europe at this time. Whether you agree with the war in Iraq or not, this show is a must-see! I'm hoping they'll rerun it sometime soon. But in the meantime, this very thorough and informative webpage:

AN ACTUAL PHOTO OF THE HIDEOUS CREATURE!!!
--But seriously, this is part of an amateur photo shoot I did on Monday, which took me to realms I'd never been to before...

7 Up Yours!

Johnny Carson's passed away, and yet I had one of the funnest most amazing weekends ever! Which is why death sucks, because it robs us of such incredible moments, and life is so full of them!

I did some moderate drinking, lots of dancing (KUDOS to the FACTORY club this past Sauturday night for the extraordinary DJ and music), some screwing, and a photo session which turned out to be interesting to say the least! AHEM!

Whoa! Will ya look at the time? Life rocks man, I'm on a high right now, which I wish I did not have to come down from...

My friend hath demonstrated this device to me last night. I am in awe. This is one of the most amazing inventions I have ever had the fortune of living to see, as when I first witnessed the Internet back in 1996. I will eventually get one as I continue learning more about it. WOW!

Christian freaks must love picturing Mr. Squarepants in all kinds of gay sex postions to further their cause. WHO ARE THE REAL PERVERTS THEN?!

Ah, gotta love the Christian Right...NOT!

More vicious ridiculous accusations from "morally righteous" people living in this country! Now they're attacking SpongeBob Squarepants as corrupt for children. GIMME A F**KIN' BREAK! They are looking for gayness where it does not even exist! WHAT A BUNCH OF CLOWNS!

http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/TV/01/20/sponge.bob.reut/index.html
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6852828/

I can't believe it. When are people gonna stop persecuting and picking on gays? What is the big deal?! The big crime?! Who are these so-called "correct heterosexuals" and what gives them the right to judge and constantly point fingers at the "chosen" lifestyle of homosexuality? These intolerant assholes need to be rounded up and shot. Gays and lesbians are in our lives whether these Neanderthals like it or not: in our families, communities, jobs, businesses, and society as a whole. This endless display of narrowmindedness irks tha hell out of me, as they try to always find something gay and wrong in everything! OH, WE'RE DOING IT TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN!!! FROM WHAT??!! You raise them to be heterosexual and accept it as right, yet exposing them to homosexuality is sinful and wrong? How does that type of reasoning even make sense, when the vast majority if not all of homosexuality is biological. Their nauseating motto: IT IS A CHOICE makes me cringe. Cringe for those sad lonely gay guys and lesbian girls out there who would rather kill themselves or hide their sexuality from these evil hatemongerers for fear of being discovered for their true unchosen nature. No wonder Mike Piazza, Kevin Spacey, and Ricky Martin have to live in this denial. Who can blame them with all this hypocrisy and disgusting behavior?

I happen to be Christian in my beliefs, and my gut feeling tells me Jesus is very displeased at the vile intolerance and sick hatred of these Fundamentalist Kooks. There is no justification or excuse for the relentless persecution, name-calling, and the taking of rights of the homosexual community such as that being displayed in this country right now. I don't want to hate George W. Bush as much as most liberals in America do right now, but HE TOO is in the same boat with these homophobic assholes by supporting an ammendment banning gay marriage. And for that reason alone, I could not vote him back into office, because he, along with all his supporters make me sad and angry that their closed-mindedness does not let them see past all the triviality and just love their fellow human being for who he/she may be.

It's time to stop judging your gay brethren America. Remember the words of our Lord, "Let he that is without sin, cast the first stone." What an individual does with his/her crotch is their business alone and no one else's. Yet this constant witchhunt and putrid hatred of gays and their rights solidifies my viewpoint that the only true perverts and degenerates are the intolerant homophobic Fundamentalist Christians themselves for constantly devising, imagining, and fabricating stories to support their evil "fag-hating" agenda.

SHAME ON YOU, AND MAY GOD FORGIVE YOU WHEN IT IS YOU WHO FINDS YOURSELF AT THE GATES OF HELL FOR HAVING HATED AND PERSECUTED YOUR GAY BROTHER/SISTER IN THIS LIFE. JUST YOU WAIT, YOU'RE THE ONES IN FOR A BIG SURPRISE.

SAY WHAT??!!@#$!@%

Mike Piazza is getting married?! I hate to project homosexuality onto others, but I do believe he's only getting married to cover the truth. Ahem!

Ch-Ch-Ch-Check it out!

God, I just heard of a woman and these boys that drowned in some creek somewhere locally. THAT IS HORRIBLE! UGH! Death rears its ugly head once again.

Well, I had an interesting weekend full of errands, lascivious encounters, sleeping, drinking, and hanging out at some of my old watering holes. Some way to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy huh?

It was back to work today, and although all of us here would've wished for yet another day off, it was not meant to be. Alas, my time away from here means so much to me: my evenings with my buddies, my time to unwind, watching TV, chatting on the phone, or just surfing the net.

I realized last Thursday, that I do love my family, I saw an aunt and cousin of mine visiting from EL SALVADOREELAND that I had not seen in about nine years! I say I realized I loved them, because I have always wanted to be away from them, due to the fact that it's hard for me to be open to them about my current sexuality issues. My aunt Amanda almost cried, she thinks I look like my deceased father (her brother) now more than ever. What can I say, we turn into our parents eventually they say, whether we like it or not. My father was not a great man, but he was a good man, plagued by many demons and addictions. He was a wonderful son, a loyal friend, a shitty lover, and tyrannical distant father, but nonetheless, I miss him terribly. He's been gone now for three years, and it still hurts me to have had him taken from us a la John Lennon. I even had a nightmare of the scenario just last week, and I woke up in tears.

Such a senseless ridiculous way to go for a man whom I think was really trying to redeem himself as he got older. And life goes on, but not without this great scar upon my heart...

I just saw "Troy" on DVD. Good decent film, fine acting, sad ending, and Jennifer Aniston not wanting to have William Bradley Pitt's child must be insane.

Calgon take me away!

The mudslide situation in La Conchita keeps getting worse with more buried dead being found daily. So disheartening...

I'm taking one of my many mental breaks from work right now. I always wonder how revealing I should be in this blog about my private and personal life. Should I consider this a diary, or just a general place to voice objective opinions? I mean, my co-worker William has now read stuff about me which quite frankly is pretty embarassing. YA READING THIS LORD? I would hope that he doesn't care or see too much into it, and just takes it for what it's worth. Just plain honesty. And that's what I attempt to do with this blog, to just be honest with what I'm thinking and how I feel.

Anyhoots, I thought I may have pissed my bud David Monday for being so blunt and harsh about him being just as slutty if not more so than me in front of his current boyfriend Sonny! I mean please ladies and gentlemen, I know I have my fair share of sexual fun, but David is still KING. Or would that be Johnny? Hmmm...this gay world is so hard to live in sometimes. We are all basically good people, and as men, promiscuity comes naturally and very easily, something to really watch out for due to the multitude of STDs out there. I find STD's to be life's cruel joke on those who want to sexually appreciate and enjoy others. I'd much rather have people f**king than killing each other, yet the consequences of enjoying another's body could be something as annoying as a case of crabs or as deadly as the HIV virus. And that is so sad and UNFAIR! Why punish humanity for wanting to enjoy a basic delicious and soothing biological need like sex? Alas, keep using those condoms folks! The reality is, ya can't screw so many or even one sole partner unprotected with so much to worry about out there.

Life is a strange journey. It's full of so many wonderful blessings and tarnished by sad cruel moments too, yet ironically, they all seem to be worth living through. Weird man. Just weird.

Blame it on the rain.

I knew all this rain would bring nothing but problems, this season now stands as the wettest ever in L.A. history! It's finally sunny today here, but the damage from this four-day deluge is done and tremendous.

We've had a horrible tragedy, a type of mini-tsunami here in Southern California:

FROM CNN:

Rescuers search for missing in mudslide
Four dead, up to 22 feared trapped in California

LA CONCHITA, California (CNN) -- Rescue crews on Tuesday searched for as many as 22 people who may be trapped in Southern California mudslides that have already claimed four lives.
Search crews concentrated on one area where earlier they had picked up an audible "hit" with sophisticated search equipment.
"We have sound sensors placed in the debris, and that's what's led us to the people that we've recovered from that debris field," said Bob Brooks with the Ventura County Sheriff's Department, referring to the nine survivors who were pulled from the morass left by Monday's slide.
Tuesday morning, rescuers concentrated on a site where a mother and her three children are believed to be trapped. Listening devices picked up a signal from that area late Monday and again early Tuesday, officials said.
"The father is currently in utter distress, trying to give us an idea of where his family might be," said Ventura County firefighter Garrett Pater, adding that the soil is extremely saturated and has the consistency of clay.
"It's heavy, heavy clay, so you have that and [you have to] take into consideration that you have had eight to 15 houses sliding into each other and on top of each other," Pater said.
Officials gave conflicting figures for the number of missing after the mudslide. Ventura County Fire Chief Bob Roper reported 12 people missing, but the sheriff's department says 22 people are unaccounted for. Witnesses reported seeing 30 to 40 people swept under the wave of mud.
Keith Mashburn, the fire department's chief investigator, said all three fatalities were adult males.
Authorities have blamed the landslides and flooding on five days of heavy rain, which have resulted in about a dozen deaths in southern California.
In San Marcos Pass, not far from Santa Barbara, nearly 24 inches of rain have fallen since Thursday.
Officials said almost 10 inches of rain had fallen since Friday in areas that included Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and the San Fernando Valley. Downtown Los Angeles received 3.5 inches by late Monday.
The search was called off for a few hours overnight as more rain threatened to bring down more of the mountain, but more than 160 rescue workers resumed their work as soon as it was safe.

'Entire mountainside just come down'
Monday's large mudslide came shortly before 1:30 p.m. (4:30 p.m. ET), several hours after a smaller mudslide overnight left one of the main highways impassable to the north and flooding blocked the road to the south, which meant more residents and children were at home than on a typical day.
After the smaller mudslide, authorities began evacuating residents of La Conchita, northwest of Los Angeles. About 100 people had left before the second wave sluiced down the normally picturesque mountain above the community.
"I stepped outside my door and heard a noise, almost like a pop," said resident Bill Harbison, who helped rescue two women trapped in the mudslide. "I looked up and I saw the entire mountainside just come down and just race through part of our little town here."
"I could hear them. They were buried beneath just an unbelievable amount of wreckage, broken glass, live power lines." he said. (
Full story)
Video of the mudslide showed a large portion of a towering bluff break off and then rumble down the hill toward the town, carrying trees, power lines and thick mud into homes below. Several cars were crushed, and a bus was tossed into one of the homes.
As the mudslide began, one man shouted, "Get out of here!" Another yelled, "It's coming down!" Residents then frantically ran into the streets, and some quickly helped in rescue efforts.
As rescuers work to find more survivors, they're keeping an anxious eye on the surrounding hillsides, with more rain forecast for Tuesday.
"There's a crevice that goes along the face. The geologists are saying it's very dangerous at this point, the rain makes it more so," Brooks told CNN.
Dry weather was forecast for Wednesday.

Barrier no match for mudslide
In 1995, La Conchita was hit by a large mudslide that caused heavy damage. A barrier wall had been built to help protect the town, but the wall appeared to be completely covered in Monday's mudslide.
"The retaining wall that's there is very inefficient. It's a small portion of the debris field itself," Brooks said. "When you look at the volume -- I think in '95 when they had the last slide, they were talking about 600,000 tons of sand and mud coming down -- there's really nothing that can stop something of that magnitude. It's almost completely a sheer cliff."

South of Los Angeles, authorities Tuesday began evacuating residents of a mobile home park in San Juan Capistrano after rising floodwaters in the San Juan Creek carried away part of the creek's concrete bank.
Assistant City Manager Bill Huber said city crews were placing large boulders and dirt into piles to shore up the levy wall.
"The floodwaters doubled in height and speed last night and the crews couldn't keep up with it," he said.
Officials closed three schools for the day so residents of the mobile home park could be evacuated to a gymnasium shared by the schools.
The city is best known for its two-month-long Swallows Festival, held to mark the return of the birds around March 19 of each year, according to the city's Web site.

I AM NOT TOO HAPPY RIGHT NOW

I lost my $300 four month old or so glasses in New Orleans, I have been tired as hell all week, and now this morning coming into work, I drove past this parked truck which I thought I had enough room to go by, and as it turns out, I knocked my right side mirror out! ARGH! I AM SO F**KIN' PISSED RIGHT NOW! I can only hope now that THAT asshole I had problems with at work last month dies or gets kicked out of this office to make me happy. Imma hella of a nice guy, but when I'm this upset, I'm a real prick and highly evil.

Happy Freakin' New Year.

Before I get some shut-eye...

I don't want to forget to mention the one thing about my just recent trip to New Orleans that will most stay with me till the day I die. At about 11:45 p.m. New Year's Eve, my good buddy David and I were hungry enough to go get a bite to eat at the Clover Grill, a nice little hole in the wall burger/American diner joint in the French Quarter that faces a very busy bar.

We got our burgers served fast by a very friendly staff and they were delicious to say the least, but just as midnight hit, there we were, with a couple of other people and we all joyously and happily welcomed in the New Year as the main cook proceeded to give us all a hug.

A simple, yet memorable welcome to 2005, there with my good friend whom I love to death, without the alcohol, without the great big crowd, without all the fanfare, and much emotion.

I know, corny, but true :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Ed Norton rocks in this photo!!!

BACK TO THE GRIND! UGH!

I'm sad. I just got back from New Orleans yesterday, and despite a slight case of annoying laryngitis, I had a blast! New Orleans is still the decadent, drinking, partying, sex-ridden, gambling, all-night cesspool that I remember from last year! We got to stay at a wonderful beautiful hotel on Bourbon St. called the Royal Sonesta for a pretty good deal! http://www.sonesta.com/neworleans_royal/

David and I did lots of walking and I was amazed at the amount of drinking I did and how well I was able to handle it! I met so many nice people and unfortunately some very rude ones who seem to hate L.A. What is it with people from other parts of this country that hate Los Angeles? Is it jealousy? True disgust? I dunno, but I was quite surprised and upset about that. I was happy to tell several people off for dumping on my hometown.

My buddy David (whom I went with) took his video camera and was hilariously stopping people on the street New Year's Eve tricking them into hollering into the camera for our upcoming "NEW ORLEANS GONE WILD DVD". To say we got some crazy ridiculous hilarious footage is an understatement! Thanks to Vincent, a Joe Pesci clone, who was with us at the time, we got some very funny stuff on tape.

I got more to say, but I am surrounded by co-workers talking to me right now. GOD HELP those devastated people in Southeast Asia. When all is said and done, they say the total dead will be about 400,000. THAT IS BEYOND COMPREHENSION.

Gotta go! Till later! And Happy New Year. So one hopes...
