HAPPY EARTH DAY!

Many congrats are in order to PBS once again for Wednesday night's engaging, informative, and disheartening program from National Geographic called Strange Days on Planet Earth. At the rate we're going, our home, the jewel of the solar system, Earth, is going to dramatically change for the worse forever if we don't get our act together and stop its destruction.

The first two episodes of the four-part series dealt with how through travel and ignorance, humans have unwittingly moved native species from their original habitats into other areas where they do not belong threatening the native species there and causing huge problems for the environment and for humans living in the area. Termites which were once supposed to be found China were unknowingly brought to New Orleans after WWII in crates homecoming soldiers used to pack their stuff in. The wood used in these crates was perfect for these little stowaways which have now invaded New Orleans' many French Quarter wooden buildings and threatens them with eventual destruction. The Water Hyacinth, a native plant of Brazil was brought to Lake Victoria in Uganda and for a while threatened the lake's existence because it was overgrowing unabated, but was stopped thanks to a smart ecologist who brought in weevils to take care of the vicious weed. The global warming of the Earth was also discussed and the implications for animals and humans through minimal but significant climate change is something to be seriously considered!

We are all connected in one way or another, whether plant, animal, insect, or human species. What we do affects all others. There is no other way around it!

Please visit the links below and consider donating if you can. This is so important! Our precious home is at threat!

¡Viva La Música!

So, it’s the wee hours of a Monday morning here, and I am enjoying my new computer beyond my wildest dreams and fantasies. It is phenomenally fast and the cable modem Internet connection I have is so far, nothing short of superb!

I am having a blast burning CD’s and downloading music. I’ve fallen into a music phase of finding the best in Latin music, whether classic or modern. This is not a new phase, as I have been doing this since the early 90's, with artists such as Miguel Bosé, Mecano, La Unión, Maná, and Juan Luis Guerra y 440. I kind of left the Latin scene though in the mid 90's when the alternative grunge rock scene exploded and gave us some phenomenal unforgettable music thanks to Nirvana, Stone Temple Pilots, Green Day, Smashing Pumpkins, Radiohead, No Doubt, Pearl Jam, and many others too numerous to mention. Then came the late 90's and early 2000's when I went into my classic rock British invasion phase. I began to feverishly collect all that was The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, and The Who of course. I think I’m now going back to my roots, only because there is some good music being made out there by Juanes, Shakira, Molotov, Café Tacuba, Gustavo Cerati, and many others. Let’s just say my CD collection is pretty impressive to say the least, but my collection of mp3's in the next year or so with this new computer should begin to look even more amazing. I mean, I’ve been out of the mp3 loop for years, not having the equipment available to even use this amazing technology. To me, NAPSTER was just one big controversial news story, not something I even used, as I never had it when it was making headlines.

Yes, I still have room for the occasional Pop Top 40 cheesy hit here and there and some good catchy Hip Hop, but for the most part, I like well-composed, lyrically smart, and well-crafted music. Rock and Roll will always be high on my list.

I am now officially into any and all kinds of music as evidenced by my growing musical tastes in the 1990's and early parts of this decade. And how could one not be? Music is such an incredible art form to which there is no equal. It soothes the soul, uplifts the spirit, sends chills down the spine, delights the brain, freezes a moment in time and brings back memories like no other except maybe the sense of smell. In any language is pretty much fine for me, preferably in English and Spanish, which are the dominant languages for music the world over.

Life is so worth living with so much beautiful sound.

93 years ago today...

An eerie anniversary to acknowledge, but the TITANIC had already hit an iceberg and was sinking fast at around this very time that I post this. Well, not during Pacific Time, but Eastern time really.

God, how truly dreadful it must've been.

The continuing saga of the severed finger!

Now this bitch doesn't want to sue Wendy's after all. Just what is this woman hiding or what was she truly scheming? How did that finger get into her bowl of chili after all? Hmmm...

"Today...today is history!" -Amon Goeth

I hate to use an anti-Semite's quote on this, but it's true! I am finally, after all these years, connected to high-speed Internet access! My lost Dell computer arrived finally in the last two weeks after being lost God knows where, my heart and soul Mikey helped me set it up, and after a two-hour delay, the cable guy finally arrived to set up supersonic Internet access! YES INDEED! TODAY...TODAY IS HISTORY! At least for me!

I cannot believe Prince Dumbo married that Afghan Hound today. How revolting and appalling! Lady Di, oh poor Lady Di is rolling over and over and over and over and over in that grave!

That finger found at Wendy's might have been planted by that lawsuit-happy woman who started this mess in the first place! GO FIGURE! I was happy just a while ago she had a case against them, and now it turns out she might of cut it off a dead relative at a wake earlier that week to put it in the chili and get herself some cash. What a twisted gross bitch!

Guess what?! The Pope is STILL dead.

That funeral this morning was something else, even though I missed most of it. I couldn't stay awake to be honest, and slept like a baby. But from what I'm reading and the pics posted on the Internet, it was quite the spectacle.

Odd I say, comparing it to the real Jesus Christ, who had such a cruel miserable death and a fairly mediocre disposal of his body. But AH! He was able to move that stone on the third day, something the Pope won't be doing anytime soon.

The Pope is still dead.

Congratulations! Thank God! My brand new Dell computer is up and running! Fast Internet service should come this Saturday, hopefully with a hot good-looking cable guy to go along with all this newfound technological pride!

And what the hell are THESE people doing???!!! (read link to story below)

I cannot dislike him, but why'd he have to say that?

So it's official, the Pope is dead, but I ran into this from the Wikipedia Encyclopedia online:

A controversial point of the John Paul II papacy is the "Halloween Letter" issued in 1986 where he applies terms to gays and lesbians such as "disordered, self-indulgent individuals who threaten the lives and well-being of a large number of people". In his most recent publications, John Paul II has identified homosexuality as an "ideology of evil", which has put the Vatican at a an uncomfortable stance with gay rights groups around the world.

EEK! I wonder if he was upset at how, many gays and lesbians have flocked to his beloved Catholic Church to become priests and nuns. What's worse is how so many of those priests have ended up sexually preying on minors and have gotten away with it!

Irony of ironies.

Requiescat In Pace

I do believe Pope John Paul II is dead by now. All everyone is waiting for is official word from the Vatican, but there's no question in my mind that he has already passed on to the next level.

And so it goes. Life. A long short joyous cruel experiment of consciousness involving our physical, emotional, and mental states.

Try explaining that.

Et Tu Brute?!

I haven’t been very interested in giving 100% of myself at my current job for about a year and a half or so, simply because I’m bored of it and frankly I need to get off my skinny ass and find a career that matches my true talents in life.

How disappointing to find a betrayer in this office who told on me to my supervisor this week for slacking off. This only because I’m trying to get her useless horrible friend in trouble for verbally assaulting me unjustly last December. And though I do not like to think myself as a racist, this bitch has made it a racial issue.

Fine you c**t! So that’s the way you and so many trivial petty f**ks in this office operate. You found a weak spot of mine and have decided to milk it for all its worth in order to get me in trouble and help the cause of your uncouth and disrespectful buddy. Stick to your race then traitor! It may have gotten O.J. free, but I guarantee for you, it will not rid ye of thy shackles, nor of his. Your intellect and goals in life are beneath mine and shall always be. You are but wasted space on this beautiful Planet, deserving the fate of convicted Nazis after World War Two: the gallows! THE GALLOWS! SEND HER TO THE GALLOWS! HER AND HER SMELLY DISRESPECTFUL SHITMAKER FRIEND AND LET THEIR FEET SWING!

Rest in peace Terri Schiavo, and may true deserved pain, death, and suffering come upon to the hypocrites, traitors, evildoers, and calumnious scoundrels who seek to do nothing but further the cause of evil and help the Devil and his minions. You just due is a’ comin’.

"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." Revelation 21:8.

Humanity Is Disgraceful.

I cannot for the life of me understand why God allows us to even continue living on this Planet, when all we seem to do is destroy it. Our beloved friends, the animals of this world are suffering so greatly due to our abuse. The links to the following stories below are only a small sign of the true horrors going on. My soul is in pain, true pain at what we are doing to our amazing ecosystem.

WE SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF OURSELVES. I AM SO DISGUSTED AT BEING A HUMAN BEING TODAY.

No wonder earthquakes, tsunamis, and other killer future natural disasters are coming our way. Mother Nature is pissed, and rightfully so.

WE ARE DAMNED AND DO NOT BE SURPRISED AT THE HORRORS THAT AWAIT US FOR OUR SIN.

Vote For Pedro.

With all the scary awful shit going on in the world today, it's nice to find a quirky, original, and witty film such as the one I was fortunate enough to see this weekend on DVD, Napoleon Dynamite.

A most hilarious truly American film if there ever was one. Bravo to the cast and crew!

YE HYPOCRITES!

It's Good Friday, and so many are off from work today even though we didn't get the day officially off.

They claim it's to observe the day and prepare for Easter. BUNCH OF LIARS. The rest of the year they're out ruining people's lives, causing mayhem, and avoiding church. Now they're devout Christians?

Hypocrisy at its finest.

“No todo el que me dice: Señor, Señor, entrará en el reino de los cielos: sino el que hace la voluntad de mi Padre que está en los cielos” (Mateo 7:21).

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven" (Matthew 7:21).

Sue them for all they got sweetheart!

Last Friday was my nightmare scenario at the drive-thru. Now this! Sweet justice and retribution! Wendy's does it again. Dave Thomas is really rolling over now, ten times over in his grave.

YOU BLOODY PUTZES!

¡Viva Frida Kahlo!

As Terri Schiavo slowly goes, those of us still living must continue to face all of life's challenges up ahead. I'm in a very contemplative state as of late and the sooner I can get my computer the less philosophical and existentialist I will be! HEEHEE!

Last night, I had the fortune of watching PBS' The Life and Times of Frida Kahlo. I've definitely heard of this magnificent woman before (the movie with Salma Hayek is pretty good), but never had I connected with her as much as I did watching the special. A passionate soul she was, full of so much life, wonderful artistic expression, and so much tragedy.

The great love of her life was another Mexican genius, muralist Diego Rivera. A fat ugly womanizing pig, they did share a great love, but not without lots of infidelity. Her nearly fatal bus accident at 16 left her almost crippled but still in horrible pain for the rest of her life. She learned from Diego that women too could cheat and she did do it often with many men and other women as well! She travelled to the U.S. with Diego and even to Paris on her own having successful art gallery shows of her celebrated paintings.

At the very end of her life, as the pain of her body was too much to bear, she painted one final work of art, which not only sums up her love of life despite all its pain, but speaks volumes of how all of us cling to this incredible journey. Sandías (Watermelons) is the name of her last piece with the profound words, Viva La Vida (Long Live Life).

How sweet indeed.

Dell go to Hell! And Wendy's too!

I ordered a new computer online from DELL.COM about two weeks ago and received my monitor and speakers just fine, but the actual CPU was lost by U.P.S. and I have now called Dell Customer DISservice about four or five times to receive a new replacement hard drive tower, but to no avail.

Thanks to outsourcing, I have had the "pleasure" of speaking to customer service reps in India and the Philippines! GET A LOAD OF THAT! My most American problem with people on the other side of the globe trying to resolve it.

It's a bunch of shit and a most annoying experience indeed.

I'll never get to experience lightning speed Internet service at home at this rate.

Thanks Dell. Maybe if I did some pot like their old spokesperson (that young dude that did commercials for them a few years back) I'd feel less upset.

La Primavera and a Happy Birthday too!

Today marks the vernal equinox, the official start of the Spring season and also a landmark birthday, my pride and joy, Mikey's 30th birthday! A mate with true soul.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Many more ahead do I wish thee to live through in this crazy crazy world.

I rue the day when I have to feel yet another earthquake here in Southern CA or witness the next terrorist attack and have to say the same thing, “Oh no! Not again!”

History doth repeat itself.

Dave Thomas is rolling over in his grave.

A most unpleasant experience last night for me at Wendy's on Sepulveda Blvd. in Van Nuys, CA. I went to their drive-thru window and ordered two classic single burgers, two sets of fries, and one Frosty as I was on my way to my buddy Johnny's house to hang and kick it.

Well what happens? The first Latina bitch gives me two Frosties and charges me for it when I only asked for one. I told her, "I'm sorry I only wanted one Frosty." She proceeds to argue with me that I said two and then has the nerve to communicate to her ex-chola co-worker in sarcastic Spanish that "Me dijo que quería dos..." ("He told me he wanted two...") and she continued to mumble other shit in Spanish about me that I clearly understood!!! Just because I'm a pale light skinned dude does not mean I do not speak or understand Spanish you duo of loser backward non-English commanding uneducated PUTAS! I even asked the other border crosser if she could gimme the adjusted order receipt not including the just returned Frosty and she rudely refused to do it!

I was starting to get very upset but what really did it for me was when she gave me back my change for the unwanted Frosty. Yeah, that was fine and dandy, but where the f**k was my change for the rest of my order? Out of a $20 bill I gave that wetback, I only got $2.15 and where tha hell was the rest you illiterate mojada? She claimed she had already given it to me, yet there I sat in my car, this "WHITEBOY WHO CANNOT POSSIBLY SPEAK ESPAñOL" like an idiot loser holding only two and change for a ten dollar or so order. Was it my mistake, or hers? It got to a point where FATASS MANAGER Edgar (who enjoys Wendy's burgers and Frosties one too many and it shows) came in to supposedly resolve the situation by bringing out receipts and shit and finally after about ten minutes he refused to give me my change claiming PENDEJA #1 had already given it to me.

Was it the rudeness of this whole ordeal that made me forget my first bit of change that PERRA claims to have given me? Or did I really get shorted? At this point, I have racked and racked my brain, but to no avail. Let's just say I left that Wendy's very displeased but not without telling misMANAGER EDGARCITO that he should advise his two shrews to use caution and discretion when speaking Spanish in front of customers that they assume will not understand them when THEY MIGHT OR WILL. And I told him in clear fluent Spanish too!

There you have it. I'm very proud of my Hispanic heritage. And dreadfully ashamed of those who taint it, like the worthless trio of SPICS at Wendy's last night. I'm never going to Wendy's again, but first I gotta get a hold of headquarters and report this most insulting experience with these vile heathens.

Dios me dé paciencia. (God grant me patience.)

Poor Scott Peterson. Off You Go Chucky!

Robert Blake and O.J. got away with murder, why couldn't Scott Peterson? WOW! What a loser! Such a handsome guy, now on death row, prime juicy meat for buttrape or murder from another inmate even! So what if Robert Blake went free, the guy is so insane, he's well on his way to joining O.J. on the golf course and completely losing his mind for good.

Mario Vásquez is now so adorably cute to me ever since he abandoned American Idol to pursue whatever. I'd so like to bone him. The only thing I hate is the way he and everyone else pronounce his last name. It’s not VASKWEZ, it's VASKEZ! UGH! GET IT RIGHT! It’s Spanish folks, and it would help if at least it sounded a little less irritating once the name is anglicized.

Our Last Hope! He Was Seduced By The Dark Side and So Were We!

Opens May 19, 2005!

My co-worker William just showed me the new Star Wars trailer and it looks nothing short of spectacular! I am praying and hoping Mr. George Lucas can finally redeem himself after giving us the last two fairly mediocre films in the series. It looks quite dark and menacing as we see the complete transformation of Anakin Skywalker into Darth Vader!

I'm really excited though about Ian McDiarmid, the actor portraying the evil emperor. He's got a real meaty role here. Keeping my fingers crossed and hoping this movie delivers...

Gays of Our Lives

Here's hoping the fight goes all the way, and that gay marriage finally gets approved. We have so many more important problems in this world, I cannot believe that in this day and age people would get so worked up against allowing people basic rights. Get over it and just let it happen so we can get to the things that truly matter!

Nous sommes dans la merde!

Yeah so I took four years of French back in high school (what about 13 years ago or so?), and I was pretty good and learned a lot. Knowing another language based on Latin (Spanish at home) helped me tremendously to pick up French quickly back then. However, due to its limited use in California, I had all but shelved the language of Paris for the past twelve years or so.

That is, until I started working at my current job, which looks like the roster of the United Nations or something to that effect. Here I ran into a social worker who understood my French perfectly, but who wouldn't answer me due to her forgetting how to speak it. She told me though I had an impeccable accent, as did another visitor to our office from Vietnam who said I spoke very well. Just about six months ago, I found the true hammer to my nail, my co-worker Alex, who speaks French very well after learning it in school alongside English back in Iraq. We have never ceased to speak it since, and in just these past few months, all the French I thought I'd forgotten has come back beautifully! It's amazing! I'm so excited to be practicing it once again and to be so fluent, more than I ever thought possible!

Too bad those uppity conceited frogs in Europe gave us the language, but oh well. Everything one learns is never in vain, and can always come back to help you one day.

Europe here I come! When? I dunno, but soon...

So there I was yesterday bitching about not getting enough comments on my blog entries, and now I come to find that the "comments" section is down and not working throughout the blogger system! WHAT GIVES MAN?! Oh well. Not like it matters for my lackluster blog anyway.

At least it's Friday.

Oh wait! They just found the bug and fixed it. Nevermind. And yes, it's still Friday.

I GIVE UP! IT WENT DOWN YET AGAIN!

No, now it's working. Let's just say, f**k it and move on, shall we?

Working Class Hero

As soon as you're born they make you feel small
By giving you no time instead of it all
Till the pain is so big you feel nothing at all
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

They hurt you at home and they hit you at school
They hate you if you're clever and they despise a fool
Till you're so fucking crazy you can't follow their rules
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

When they've tortured and scared you for twenty odd years
Then they expect you to pick a career
When you can't really function you're so full of fear
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

Keep you doped with religion and sex and TV
And you think you're so clever and classless and free
But you're still fucking peasants as far as I can see
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

There's room at the top they are telling you still
But first you must learn how to smile as you kill
If you want to be like the folks on the hill
A working class hero is something to be
A working class hero is something to be

If you want to be a hero well just follow me
If you want to be a hero well just follow me
--John Lennon
from the Plastic Ono Band album

"
Plastic Ono Band" was John Lennon's debut solo album after the break up of the Beatles. It was released on Dec. 11, 1970.

Please Comment on This Entry and Make Me Feel Important! WA WA WAAAAA!!!

BREAKING NEWS: Martha Stewart’s out of jail (you already knew that didn’t you?) and Michael Jackson may just go to the slammer (not for molesting Sesame Street viewers) but for showing up late to his ongoing trial consistently. From what I just heard, he just got to court a few minutes ago, in the most comical and ridiculous old sick patient mode ever, to get sympathy from the judge no doubt, who wants to throw the book at him. Ah Jacko, you are priceless.

I constantly run into other people’s blogs out of curiosity and find myself quite confused at some of their ramblings! Either only their close friends understand what the hell they’re talking about, or these people are just part of the growing blog community that thinks each and all their thoughts are interesting and worth posting. It all looks like Greek to me at times, even though they’re written in English. Sometimes I wonder myself why I even bother keeping a blog! Is it for my own personal satisfaction or for others to enjoy my own personal little "show?" Truth be told, it is kind of narcissistic isn’t it? I so hate it when I write an entry that I feel is a "masterpiece" and then days later there are 0 f**kin’ comments below it. I know people have probably read it, but how do I know? Yet on these other blogs, people amass so many comments, their sites seem to take on a life of their own! ARGH! ENVY! I FEEL ENVY! LOLOLOLOL!

I was happy last night to hang out with my very dear and beloved group of male buddies once again. When I am with David, Johnny, and Sonny and all we do is sit around watching TV and talking sh*t, I truly feel happy. These guys are all funny and witty in their own special way, they’re all laid-back (except when our Southern Belle David gets dramatic and turns into THEE Scarlet O’Hara in his attitude), and very fun and comforting to be around. They all truly do have great wit and most importantly good hearts. I can be myself around them and never feel constrained or self-conscious, which is so nice to have. I don’t know how long our little group will last, but for the past year or so, it has been quite fulfilling to have these cool guys in my life, for I love them so.

Talk about sending chills down my spine! Last night as I was going to bed, I had the Coast To Coast AM with George Noory show on my radio, and they had an expert woman on the air talking about the mindset and modus operandi of serial killers. It was really f**kin’ freaky and endlessly fascinating. She went through the whole list of them, from Jack the Ripper to the recent BTK Killer that was just caught. She said the one thing that identifies all of these disturbed individuals is their total lack of conscience/love, they’re all male, they come from good backgrounds/happy childhoods, and they are found throughout the world and during all of recorded history.

http://www.coasttocoastam.com/shows/2005/03/09.html#recap

I was looking over my shoulder last night just as I was going to bed, kinda creeped out for sure.

Yes Virginia, there might be WMD's after all...

HOLY FREAKIN' CRAP MAN! My co-worker Christa made the light bulb go off in my head this morning! Why all that fuss last week about Bush and crew telling the Syrians to pull out of Lebanon? It's all starting to make sense, but in this humble writer's opinion, the WMD's were indeed hidden in the Beqaa Valley of Lebanon and other various Syrian sites to avoid discovery in Iraq.

And today this:

Thousands Answer Hezbollah Call in Beirut

Well yes my dear Hezbollah, you don't want the Syrians to leave, they support your terrorist tactics and the place you call home is probably loaded with Saddam's weapons! HOW INTERESTING! THE PLOT THICKENS DOES IT NOT?! Bush and Co. now realize, know, and are ready to inspect and reveal that the Weapons of Mass Destruction are indeed at the Syrian-Lebanese border as had been suspected for quite some time.

And no, it wasn't a Lifetime chick flick...

So, my soul mate Mikey has been insisting that I watch Disney's Brother Bear for the past year or so on DVD and I kept putting it off until I was ready I guess. I finally sat down and watched it yesterday afternoon. I haven't seen a movie so emotionally moving and stirring like this in a long time. Yes, it brought me to true actual tears, what a wonderful story this was! Bravo to all involved in this most beautiful film, and screw the critics and others who tried to endlessly compare this to Finding Nemo, which was in itself a great film, but very different from Brother Bear.

Do yourself a favor and give this film a chance. You'll see what I mean. Pure love is truly a wonderful thing.

Congratulations to all of last night's winners, some seemingly more deserving than others, but that's the case every year when the awards are handed out.

I have to admit, I am very very happy to see Morgan Freeman finally get awarded for not just Million Dollar Baby, but symbolically for a whole body of work for which he has consistently been tremendously wonderful in.

Rebel With A Cause?!

Let me get this straight (excuse the pun). I'm 30 years old, have never drunk as much alcohol in my life as I am doing now (still in relative moderation mind you), am partying into the wee hours of the night about two/three nights a week, getting some good nookie thank you very much, and am possibly considering the use of marijuana (for the first time ever in my life!) sometime soon. Either I'm an immature bastard, never truly went wild in my earlier days, or have simply lost my mind.

"They're miracles those songs." -- Bono of U2 on The Beatles.

So there I was, just the other night, listening to some extraordinary remastered digital CD 's of music made forty years ago or so. Which is why I am now finally making time to write about my favorite band of all time!

Well yeah, it's pretty cliché and some would say way overrated, but that would be The Beatles. Simply put, they are modern music's greatest achievement for many many already stated reasons. They were the first music group to write and perform all their material. The songwriting of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, and George Harrison to this day remains unchallenged as the best ever in modern pop/rock music due to its incredible diversity, variety, and innovation. They introduced recording techniques and album release methods never before tried and now often imitated. Because of them, bands now tour the world. It is due to them that many bands were formed and came after when other young people decided that they too would pick up a guitar or learn to play the drums and form their own groups. And last but not least, the world's greatest Liverpudlians ever, are responsible for not only selling the most albums in history (one billion worldwide!), but for creating lasting music that to this day resonates with every age group alive and yet to come.

What is remarkable to me is that as much unquestionable support as The Beatles still have to this day, there are many who dismiss them as too light and not hardcore enough, which is totally missing the point. Sure, great bands like The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, and Nirvana have outrocked the Beatles without question. But the Beatles wrote music that appeals to all, including those hardcore rock songs (Helter Skelter, Paperback Writer, and Revolution come to mind) that detractors often mention as lacking in The Beatles' repertoire. They were not a band that was going to be content with writing only headbanger songs. They needed to display and show the world what was truly going on in their brilliant diverse little minds.

I am astounded at the diversity and variety of their catalogue: ballads, instrumentals, bubble-gum pop, rock, cabaret, acoustic, psychedelic, classical, country, hippie, blues, existential, heavy, catchy, folk, etc. One need just purchase and listen to their 1968 release The White Album to acknowledge that these guys were true geniuses in every sense of the word. A complete music group that could play in and out of every genre possible. Something other bands then and even now don't dare do for fear of alienating their fans. This is the essence of the Fab Four, and why I like and admire them so much. The diversity, variety, and spectacular sound of their music sounds just as good today, as if these songs were recorded just yesterday! Beautiful melodies and gorgeous vocal harmonies that are second to none.

John Lennon is my favorite Beatle due to his cynical witty personality. Paul McCartney is to be admired for his amazing diversity and instrumental skills. George Harrison is underrated and to be admired more for some truly f**king great songs that he wrote for the group. And last but not least, Ringo Starr, for some decent drumming skills and the intelligence to admit that although he knew was the least talented; he was the one with the best heart and soul of them all.

Two Beatles are now sadly gone way before their time, and two remain. In my eyes however, and in millions of others the world over, The Beatles are all alive and well in their recordings and will continue to be forevermore.

Someday, Animals Shall Inherit the Earth.

This is the kind of story that only reiterates my view that animals are wonderful living creatures that deserve the utmost respect and admiration, and that we humans do nothing but destroy, overreact, kill, and f**k up this beautiful place called Planet Earth.

IT F**CKIN' ROCKS BABY!

U2 - Vertigo Lyrics
Album:
How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb

¡Uno, dos, tres, catorce!
Turn it up loud, captain
Lights go down
It's dark, the jungle is
Your head can't rule your heart
A feeling so much stronger
Than a thought
Your eyes are wide
And though your soul
It can't be bought
Your mind can wander
Hello, hello
¡Hola!
I'm at a place called Vertigo
¿Dónde está?
It's everything I wish I didn't know
Except you give me something I can feel
Feel
The night is full of holes
These bullets rip the sky
Of ink with gold
They twinkle
As the boys play rock and roll
They know that they can't dance
At least they know
I can't stand the beats
I'm asking for the check
Girl with crimson nails
Has Jesus 'round her neck
Swinging to the music
Swinging to the music
Hello, hello
¡Hola!
I'm at a place called Vertigo
¿Dónde está?
everything I wish I didn't know
But you give me something I can feel
Feel
Shot dead
Shots fall
Show me, yeah
All of this, all of this can be yours
All of this, all of this can be yours
All of this, all of this can be yours
Just give me what I want
And no one gets hurt
Hello, hello
¡Hola!
We’re at a place called Vertigo
¿Dónde está?
lights go down and all I know
Is that you give me something
I can feel your love teaching me how
Your love is teaching me how
How to kneel
Kneel
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

A Veces, La Vida Es Una Mierda (Sometimes, Life Is A Pile of Shit).

It's very early Sunday morning, and I am livid and upset! F**K MAN! Just hours ago Saturday evening, my toilet got clogged and overflooded, my mother screamed her lungs out at me for the mess, the cleanup effort was a nightmare, traffic on the freeway was horrendous, my pants are now a wrinkled mess thanks to having to wait for someone else's clothes to finish in the dryer, and this nonstop RAIN are all enough and then some to drive me up the wall! I CANNOT TAKE IT ANYMORE!! That one weekend of rain back in January was enough, and now we're in the middle of another endless rainstorm! ARGH!!! Haven't we had enough f**ckin' rain??!!!

I'm whining, I'm pissed, depressed, upset, and am finally going to bed now close to 5a.m.

At least I got to see Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind on DVD in between all my rage and it was a pretty good movie.

'Cause this is THRILLER! EEK!

My once-childhood idol is now a certifiable weirdo. But is he a child molester?! God, I really hope not. I really do. But with all the accusations and his behavior/appearance, it's hard not to wonder.

Back to the grind. Of my teeth?

O.k. so my trial is over. An unfortunate drunk man fell to his death trying to get off an MTA bus hitting the back of his head on the concrete below. The plaintiff felt the driver and the MTA were responsible, thus was seeking monetary compensation.

This case had frivolous lawsuit written all over it, and some of my fellow jurors felt that way from beginning to end, but as I heard the human story behind it, and the loss of this human being, I felt very sympathetic and emotional about the whole situation. I was disgusted at the imcompetent plaintiff lawyer whom at times did have some bright moments where he shone through, totally turned on by one of the expert witnesses (a handsome older man who caught my attention BIG TIME!), and really disappointed and disheartened by the racism and prejudice of some of the jurors in their decision only because the man killed and his girlfriend were illegal Mexican immigrants.

In the end, the unanimous vote was to not blame the driver nor the MTA for this terrible accident, it just happened to be an unfortunate mistake the drunken man made in his alcoholic state as he misstepped off the bus. The evidence proved it so. I came out of there a sad man, not wanting to be as judgmental (as some of my other fellow disgusting jurors were) about the fact he was drunk and that it "WAS HIS FAULT" that he died.

We all make mistakes. And sometimes, we pay for them dearly. Personal responsibility is a very important forgotten concept nowadays. For the most part, we are who we've chosen to be.

Till judgment day...adieu.

To The Finish Line!

My jury duty is almost over. We've reached the deliberation part of the case. I must say however, I've gotten spoiled now in this week and a half away from work. Listening to testimony can be boring at times, but it sure beats being at work! Downtown L.A. is quite beautiful and there's lots to see and do. Those of us that live in the suburbs or the Valley should really appreciate it more often as it really is a true rich cultural center with lots to offer.

I am happy to rediscover my hometown this way.

Almodóvar astonishes us yet again!

I just went to see La mala educación (Bad Education), another stunningly captivating bizarre film by Spain's crazy director, Pedro Almodóvar. I was so confused, and yet in the end it all made sense. Thank you again to Mexico's (and possibly the world's) finest living young actor Gael García Bernal for yet another amazing performance in this most intriguing film. This guy's movies never disappoint!

"So much to do, and so little time." - Jack Nicholson as THE JOKER.

O.k. Let's see if I can actually recap all the shit that is going on.

North Korea and their midget psychopathic dictator came clean that OH YES they can annihilate us with their nukes, the U.S. is threatening Iran to stop making atomic warfare, Prince Charles (DUMBO) is finally marrying that nasty buck-toothed Afghan Hound Camilla Parker Bowles whom he always loved above and beyond Princess Diana, Michael Jackson is on trial for boy probing (Corey Feldman too perhaps? If he can remember!), Bill Cosby is being accused of female fondling, American Idol is admittedly and embarassingly entertaining, Condy Rice is now Superstar Secretary O' State, Israel and Palestine agreed to a truce(short-lived for sure), cancer now kills more Americans than heart disease, Iraq is still WARHELL, and last but not least:

I am still alive. Thank God.

I know I forgot something but oh well. Till next time.

Doing my civic duty.

O.k. this jury duty thingy ain't so bad after all. Now that I've been chosen on this case, it's a little more laid-back and with all the breaks and extra long lunch break, it's a pretty good deal. The traffic from the Valley into Downtown L.A. and on the way back home however is a different story. DEAR CHRIST ALMIGHTY.

Tuesday, February 08, 2005

UGH! UGH!

I thought doing jury duty would be more fulfilling and/or exciting than my current dead-end trabajo, but I'm bored to tears! The case I've been assigned is excrutiatingly annoying. I can't say more. Hoping to get out of it, but who knows? I'm writing this from the Superior Court itself. Gotta run!

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING!

I've had one of those very apathetic lethargic weeks where I feel as though I'm going nowhere nor accomplishing anything in my life. I haven't been to the gym in two months or so now, my job has reached a horrid dead end, and I find myself living vicariously through the experiences of others and wondering, "WHY HAVEN'T I TRIED THAT?" or "WHAT THA HELL AM I DOING WITH MY LIFE?"

Sad to be 30 years old and not know my purpose on this planet. Really sad. I need friends and company right now more than ever...

It's more like a vacation.

Lest anyone think Martha Stewart's current prison gig is unjust, the bitch has got it made once she gets out sometime soon, and I say, more power to her!

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6902108/

It's Groundhog Day, so effin' what?!

So much to write and talk about, I don't even know where to begin, or if to EVEN begin. I keep exposing my blog to more and more of my friends, at the risk of having them know more of my personal details than I would like them to! But that's the point of the whole thing isn't it?

Elections were just held in Iraq, and they're calling it a success, although that's almost debatable and laughable due to the fact that suicide bombers still killed several voters and a huge amount of potential voters stayed home due to the threats. Our whole purpose in Iraq sounds good, an ideal dream of establishing a true democracy in the middle of such a hornet's nest, but the cost and sacrifice is so great. I guess we wouldn't have won WWII, had we not believed in the cause then huh? Michael Moore and crew of course, would be up for arguing with me on that one I'm sure.

My stomach recently turned last week at having to listen to a fellow ex-Soviet co-worker here doubt the deserved merits of the United States of America and its role in having defeated Nazism and the evil Japanese Empire during WWII. The sheer and utter nerve of the bitch to claim it was the Soviets who saved the day! Sure, they did help in stopping the Nazis and rounding lots of them up, but only because the Germans invaded Russian territory! It was an obvious defense move and in part it was thanks to America that victory was even possible! It makes me cringe that we have so many immigrants to this country that do not appreciate or give this country credit for the things it has done for the world and its citizens. Yes, we are from perfect, and many mistakes have been and continue to be committed, but for the most part, I believe in this country wholeheartedly, despite its current atrocious anti-gay policies. Call me a naive patriot or a foolish moron, but anyone who does not thank their lucky stars that they're living in the greatest land on Earth due to all the heroic and valiant men and women who gave up their lives for true causes deserve Darth Vader's quote from the original Star Wars film, "You are part of a Rebel Alliance and a traitor!"

I'm in a lustful mood again, but what else is new? I'm drawing a blank as to what else to mention in this entry, so if anything else occurs to me...

THE FRIGHTENING ASPECTS OF TERRORISM

Bravo to PBS last night for this informative and eye-opening account about the current state of fundamentalist terrorists and their scary grip on Europe at this time. Whether you agree with the war in Iraq or not, this show is a must-see! I'm hoping they'll rerun it sometime soon. But in the meantime, this very thorough and informative webpage:

AN ACTUAL PHOTO OF THE HIDEOUS CREATURE!!!
--But seriously, this is part of an amateur photo shoot I did on Monday, which took me to realms I'd never been to before...

7 Up Yours!

Johnny Carson's passed away, and yet I had one of the funnest most amazing weekends ever! Which is why death sucks, because it robs us of such incredible moments, and life is so full of them!

I did some moderate drinking, lots of dancing (KUDOS to the FACTORY club this past Sauturday night for the extraordinary DJ and music), some screwing, and a photo session which turned out to be interesting to say the least! AHEM!

Whoa! Will ya look at the time? Life rocks man, I'm on a high right now, which I wish I did not have to come down from...

My friend hath demonstrated this device to me last night. I am in awe. This is one of the most amazing inventions I have ever had the fortune of living to see, as when I first witnessed the Internet back in 1996. I will eventually get one as I continue learning more about it. WOW!

Christian freaks must love picturing Mr. Squarepants in all kinds of gay sex postions to further their cause. WHO ARE THE REAL PERVERTS THEN?!

Ah, gotta love the Christian Right...NOT!

More vicious ridiculous accusations from "morally righteous" people living in this country! Now they're attacking SpongeBob Squarepants as corrupt for children. GIMME A F**KIN' BREAK! They are looking for gayness where it does not even exist! WHAT A BUNCH OF CLOWNS!

http://www.cnn.com/2005/SHOWBIZ/TV/01/20/sponge.bob.reut/index.html
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6852828/

I can't believe it. When are people gonna stop persecuting and picking on gays? What is the big deal?! The big crime?! Who are these so-called "correct heterosexuals" and what gives them the right to judge and constantly point fingers at the "chosen" lifestyle of homosexuality? These intolerant assholes need to be rounded up and shot. Gays and lesbians are in our lives whether these Neanderthals like it or not: in our families, communities, jobs, businesses, and society as a whole. This endless display of narrowmindedness irks tha hell out of me, as they try to always find something gay and wrong in everything! OH, WE'RE DOING IT TO PROTECT OUR CHILDREN!!! FROM WHAT??!! You raise them to be heterosexual and accept it as right, yet exposing them to homosexuality is sinful and wrong? How does that type of reasoning even make sense, when the vast majority if not all of homosexuality is biological. Their nauseating motto: IT IS A CHOICE makes me cringe. Cringe for those sad lonely gay guys and lesbian girls out there who would rather kill themselves or hide their sexuality from these evil hatemongerers for fear of being discovered for their true unchosen nature. No wonder Mike Piazza, Kevin Spacey, and Ricky Martin have to live in this denial. Who can blame them with all this hypocrisy and disgusting behavior?

I happen to be Christian in my beliefs, and my gut feeling tells me Jesus is very displeased at the vile intolerance and sick hatred of these Fundamentalist Kooks. There is no justification or excuse for the relentless persecution, name-calling, and the taking of rights of the homosexual community such as that being displayed in this country right now. I don't want to hate George W. Bush as much as most liberals in America do right now, but HE TOO is in the same boat with these homophobic assholes by supporting an ammendment banning gay marriage. And for that reason alone, I could not vote him back into office, because he, along with all his supporters make me sad and angry that their closed-mindedness does not let them see past all the triviality and just love their fellow human being for who he/she may be.

It's time to stop judging your gay brethren America. Remember the words of our Lord, "Let he that is without sin, cast the first stone." What an individual does with his/her crotch is their business alone and no one else's. Yet this constant witchhunt and putrid hatred of gays and their rights solidifies my viewpoint that the only true perverts and degenerates are the intolerant homophobic Fundamentalist Christians themselves for constantly devising, imagining, and fabricating stories to support their evil "fag-hating" agenda.

SHAME ON YOU, AND MAY GOD FORGIVE YOU WHEN IT IS YOU WHO FINDS YOURSELF AT THE GATES OF HELL FOR HAVING HATED AND PERSECUTED YOUR GAY BROTHER/SISTER IN THIS LIFE. JUST YOU WAIT, YOU'RE THE ONES IN FOR A BIG SURPRISE.

Wednesday, January 19, 2005

SAY WHAT??!!@#$!@%

Mike Piazza is getting married?! I hate to project homosexuality onto others, but I do believe he's only getting married to cover the truth. Ahem!

Ch-Ch-Ch-Check it out!

God, I just heard of a woman and these boys that drowned in some creek somewhere locally. THAT IS HORRIBLE! UGH! Death rears its ugly head once again.

Well, I had an interesting weekend full of errands, lascivious encounters, sleeping, drinking, and hanging out at some of my old watering holes. Some way to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy huh?

It was back to work today, and although all of us here would've wished for yet another day off, it was not meant to be. Alas, my time away from here means so much to me: my evenings with my buddies, my time to unwind, watching TV, chatting on the phone, or just surfing the net.

I realized last Thursday, that I do love my family, I saw an aunt and cousin of mine visiting from EL SALVADOREELAND that I had not seen in about nine years! I say I realized I loved them, because I have always wanted to be away from them, due to the fact that it's hard for me to be open to them about my current sexuality issues. My aunt Amanda almost cried, she thinks I look like my deceased father (her brother) now more than ever. What can I say, we turn into our parents eventually they say, whether we like it or not. My father was not a great man, but he was a good man, plagued by many demons and addictions. He was a wonderful son, a loyal friend, a shitty lover, and tyrannical distant father, but nonetheless, I miss him terribly. He's been gone now for three years, and it still hurts me to have had him taken from us a la John Lennon. I even had a nightmare of the scenario just last week, and I woke up in tears.

Such a senseless ridiculous way to go for a man whom I think was really trying to redeem himself as he got older. And life goes on, but not without this great scar upon my heart...

I just saw "Troy" on DVD. Good decent film, fine acting, sad ending, and Jennifer Aniston not wanting to have William Bradley Pitt's child must be insane.

Calgon take me away!

The mudslide situation in La Conchita keeps getting worse with more buried dead being found daily. So disheartening...

I'm taking one of my many mental breaks from work right now. I always wonder how revealing I should be in this blog about my private and personal life. Should I consider this a diary, or just a general place to voice objective opinions? I mean, my co-worker William has now read stuff about me which quite frankly is pretty embarassing. YA READING THIS LORD? I would hope that he doesn't care or see too much into it, and just takes it for what it's worth. Just plain honesty. And that's what I attempt to do with this blog, to just be honest with what I'm thinking and how I feel.

Anyhoots, I thought I may have pissed my bud David Monday for being so blunt and harsh about him being just as slutty if not more so than me in front of his current boyfriend Sonny! I mean please ladies and gentlemen, I know I have my fair share of sexual fun, but David is still KING. Or would that be Johnny? Hmmm...this gay world is so hard to live in sometimes. We are all basically good people, and as men, promiscuity comes naturally and very easily, something to really watch out for due to the multitude of STDs out there. I find STD's to be life's cruel joke on those who want to sexually appreciate and enjoy others. I'd much rather have people f**king than killing each other, yet the consequences of enjoying another's body could be something as annoying as a case of crabs or as deadly as the HIV virus. And that is so sad and UNFAIR! Why punish humanity for wanting to enjoy a basic delicious and soothing biological need like sex? Alas, keep using those condoms folks! The reality is, ya can't screw so many or even one sole partner unprotected with so much to worry about out there.

Life is a strange journey. It's full of so many wonderful blessings and tarnished by sad cruel moments too, yet ironically, they all seem to be worth living through. Weird man. Just weird.

Blame it on the rain.

I knew all this rain would bring nothing but problems, this season now stands as the wettest ever in L.A. history! It's finally sunny today here, but the damage from this four-day deluge is done and tremendous.

We've had a horrible tragedy, a type of mini-tsunami here in Southern California:

FROM CNN:

Rescuers search for missing in mudslide
Four dead, up to 22 feared trapped in California

LA CONCHITA, California (CNN) -- Rescue crews on Tuesday searched for as many as 22 people who may be trapped in Southern California mudslides that have already claimed four lives.
Search crews concentrated on one area where earlier they had picked up an audible "hit" with sophisticated search equipment.
"We have sound sensors placed in the debris, and that's what's led us to the people that we've recovered from that debris field," said Bob Brooks with the Ventura County Sheriff's Department, referring to the nine survivors who were pulled from the morass left by Monday's slide.
Tuesday morning, rescuers concentrated on a site where a mother and her three children are believed to be trapped. Listening devices picked up a signal from that area late Monday and again early Tuesday, officials said.
"The father is currently in utter distress, trying to give us an idea of where his family might be," said Ventura County firefighter Garrett Pater, adding that the soil is extremely saturated and has the consistency of clay.
"It's heavy, heavy clay, so you have that and [you have to] take into consideration that you have had eight to 15 houses sliding into each other and on top of each other," Pater said.
Officials gave conflicting figures for the number of missing after the mudslide. Ventura County Fire Chief Bob Roper reported 12 people missing, but the sheriff's department says 22 people are unaccounted for. Witnesses reported seeing 30 to 40 people swept under the wave of mud.
Keith Mashburn, the fire department's chief investigator, said all three fatalities were adult males.
Authorities have blamed the landslides and flooding on five days of heavy rain, which have resulted in about a dozen deaths in southern California.
In San Marcos Pass, not far from Santa Barbara, nearly 24 inches of rain have fallen since Thursday.
Officials said almost 10 inches of rain had fallen since Friday in areas that included Beverly Hills, Santa Monica and the San Fernando Valley. Downtown Los Angeles received 3.5 inches by late Monday.
The search was called off for a few hours overnight as more rain threatened to bring down more of the mountain, but more than 160 rescue workers resumed their work as soon as it was safe.

'Entire mountainside just come down'
Monday's large mudslide came shortly before 1:30 p.m. (4:30 p.m. ET), several hours after a smaller mudslide overnight left one of the main highways impassable to the north and flooding blocked the road to the south, which meant more residents and children were at home than on a typical day.
After the smaller mudslide, authorities began evacuating residents of La Conchita, northwest of Los Angeles. About 100 people had left before the second wave sluiced down the normally picturesque mountain above the community.
"I stepped outside my door and heard a noise, almost like a pop," said resident Bill Harbison, who helped rescue two women trapped in the mudslide. "I looked up and I saw the entire mountainside just come down and just race through part of our little town here."
"I could hear them. They were buried beneath just an unbelievable amount of wreckage, broken glass, live power lines." he said. (
Full story)
Video of the mudslide showed a large portion of a towering bluff break off and then rumble down the hill toward the town, carrying trees, power lines and thick mud into homes below. Several cars were crushed, and a bus was tossed into one of the homes.
As the mudslide began, one man shouted, "Get out of here!" Another yelled, "It's coming down!" Residents then frantically ran into the streets, and some quickly helped in rescue efforts.
As rescuers work to find more survivors, they're keeping an anxious eye on the surrounding hillsides, with more rain forecast for Tuesday.
"There's a crevice that goes along the face. The geologists are saying it's very dangerous at this point, the rain makes it more so," Brooks told CNN.
Dry weather was forecast for Wednesday.

Barrier no match for mudslide
In 1995, La Conchita was hit by a large mudslide that caused heavy damage. A barrier wall had been built to help protect the town, but the wall appeared to be completely covered in Monday's mudslide.
"The retaining wall that's there is very inefficient. It's a small portion of the debris field itself," Brooks said. "When you look at the volume -- I think in '95 when they had the last slide, they were talking about 600,000 tons of sand and mud coming down -- there's really nothing that can stop something of that magnitude. It's almost completely a sheer cliff."

South of Los Angeles, authorities Tuesday began evacuating residents of a mobile home park in San Juan Capistrano after rising floodwaters in the San Juan Creek carried away part of the creek's concrete bank.
Assistant City Manager Bill Huber said city crews were placing large boulders and dirt into piles to shore up the levy wall.
"The floodwaters doubled in height and speed last night and the crews couldn't keep up with it," he said.
Officials closed three schools for the day so residents of the mobile home park could be evacuated to a gymnasium shared by the schools.
The city is best known for its two-month-long Swallows Festival, held to mark the return of the birds around March 19 of each year, according to the city's Web site.

WHAT IS THIS?! EFFIN' SEATTLE?

I AM NOT TOO HAPPY RIGHT NOW

I lost my $300 four month old or so glasses in New Orleans, I have been tired as hell all week, and now this morning coming into work, I drove past this parked truck which I thought I had enough room to go by, and as it turns out, I knocked my right side mirror out! ARGH! I AM SO F**KIN' PISSED RIGHT NOW! I can only hope now that THAT asshole I had problems with at work last month dies or gets kicked out of this office to make me happy. Imma hella of a nice guy, but when I'm this upset, I'm a real prick and highly evil.

Happy Freakin' New Year.

Before I get some shut-eye...

I don't want to forget to mention the one thing about my just recent trip to New Orleans that will most stay with me till the day I die. At about 11:45 p.m. New Year's Eve, my good buddy David and I were hungry enough to go get a bite to eat at the Clover Grill, a nice little hole in the wall burger/American diner joint in the French Quarter that faces a very busy bar.

We got our burgers served fast by a very friendly staff and they were delicious to say the least, but just as midnight hit, there we were, with a couple of other people and we all joyously and happily welcomed in the New Year as the main cook proceeded to give us all a hug.

A simple, yet memorable welcome to 2005, there with my good friend whom I love to death, without the alcohol, without the great big crowd, without all the fanfare, and much emotion.

I know, corny, but true :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Ed Norton rocks in this photo!!!

BACK TO THE GRIND! UGH!

I'm sad. I just got back from New Orleans yesterday, and despite a slight case of annoying laryngitis, I had a blast! New Orleans is still the decadent, drinking, partying, sex-ridden, gambling, all-night cesspool that I remember from last year! We got to stay at a wonderful beautiful hotel on Bourbon St. called the Royal Sonesta for a pretty good deal! http://www.sonesta.com/neworleans_royal/

David and I did lots of walking and I was amazed at the amount of drinking I did and how well I was able to handle it! I met so many nice people and unfortunately some very rude ones who seem to hate L.A. What is it with people from other parts of this country that hate Los Angeles? Is it jealousy? True disgust? I dunno, but I was quite surprised and upset about that. I was happy to tell several people off for dumping on my hometown.

My buddy David (whom I went with) took his video camera and was hilariously stopping people on the street New Year's Eve tricking them into hollering into the camera for our upcoming "NEW ORLEANS GONE WILD DVD". To say we got some crazy ridiculous hilarious footage is an understatement! Thanks to Vincent, a Joe Pesci clone, who was with us at the time, we got some very funny stuff on tape.

I got more to say, but I am surrounded by co-workers talking to me right now. GOD HELP those devastated people in Southeast Asia. When all is said and done, they say the total dead will be about 400,000. THAT IS BEYOND COMPREHENSION.

Gotta go! Till later! And Happy New Year. So one hopes...

Now that Xmas is gone...

So Xmas this year kind of sucked in that I ended up getting sick. I'd been sneezing all last week, and come Thursday night, I felt harrible! Ginger tea has been helping tremendously all weekend, but even today Monday I still feel a little bit of the cold in my throat and chest. I guess I should look at this as a blessing...better to get sick now than later, I leave to New Orleans for New Year's this very Thursday! I am a little jittery to be honest. Excitement and some nerves all rolled up into one!

I am stunned as is the world, over this 9.0 quake that caused tidal waves and has now claimed some 25,000 lives in Southeast Asia. That is not even possible is it?! WOW!!! That is too sad. The quake was so strong that according to scientists, it has knocked the Earth out of its normal rotation. UNFREAKIN'BELIEVABLE!

Xmas is coming, Xmas is coming! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

So, even though I don't really like Christmas, I got into the spirit by putting up our tree. How sweet! If only I can get my shopping started and done soon, I'll be just dandy! EEK!

It's official! I have bought my airline ticket online to spend New Year's Eve in New Orleans! WOOHOO! David's coming along, we were kind of upset that our buddy Johnny flaked on us at the last minute, but it was expected. HO HUM! We really really wanted Johnny to come along, he would've had a great time in the Big Easy. I leave Thursday morning, Dec. 30th and won't return hopefully till Monday, Jan. 3rd. I pray and hope our plane flights go well. I HATE FLYING, BUT HOW ELSE DO I GET TO MY DESTINATION RIGHT??!! UGH!

Gotta go back to work, or pretend to...

As The World Turns

It has gotten so cold here in LA, and so much earlier than normal too! Work is work and last night, I spent it with my ambiguous co-worker William trying to lend an ear to his just failed relationship with some bitch at work. The more and more I listened to his pain, the more and more my crush on him grew. And he must know, for he prick teases me all the time. He was even open to going to a gay bar last night and hanging out. My friends David and Sonny think he is straight for now, but open to the idea of going gay eventually, if not now. GULP! I feel so comfortable around him, and yet nervous too. It's the weirdest feeling. Last weekend, we all hung out together too, went to a strip bar with fully naked chicks! IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! And we also went to see "ALEXANDER" a most homosexual movie indeed.

Thanksgiving is over with, now it's on to Christmas and New Year's. If I don't buy a plane ticket to New Orleans this coming week, I'll have to stay in LA for the New Year, and I don't want to.

Nada más pasándola

A few words to share. I’ve missed three concerts as of late, Morrissey, Café Tacuba, and Green Day, only three of my favorite music artists. BUMMER! I’ve been caught up with work, gym, and my own chores and crap that I totally let time go by on me. It has just flown right on by without stopping for li’l ole’ me. It’s true! Time waits or stops for no one!

I saw House of Sand and Fog, Don’t Tempt Me and Full Metal Jacket this past weekend. House of…is very depressing and frustrating to sit through, Don’t Tempt Me is a witty charming movie from Spain with Penélope Cruz, Gael García Bernal, and Victoria Abril in a very witty comedy about Heaven vs. Hell. And of course, there’s Full Metal…with the most captivating boot camp set of scenes ever put on film. I still have Once Upon a Time in Mexico and Amélie to watch on DVD. So hopefully I can do that during the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend.

And it looks as though we’re buying our airline tickets to New Orleans soon, hopefully the price starts to come down as it has been royally expensive! The boy I like is ignoring me, but my sex partners only seem to get steamier and better. Thank God for giving me some looks.

GOOD NEWS!

Let's see, Yasser Arafat has kicked the bucket, and Scott Peterson has been convicted of cold-blooded murder! Can it get any better? WOOHOO! I get so happy when scum finally dies or is removed from society. Although to be quite honest, I feel so bad for Laci Peterson's family. That is so sad. So sad...

The world is yours...

That's a line right out of "Scarface" I believe, where Al Pacino stares intently at a blimp with those very words going across it. I do feel I have the power to do anything and achieve so much, and yet, all I want to do once I leave work today is lay down and take a long nap! GO FIGURE! I don't think it's because I'm lazy, it's only because it's hard to stare into a computer screen, type away, and answer phones for 8 hours a day! It's mentally tiring I should say.

I am excited at the possibility of having found a new cool guy to hang out with and perhaps discuss Shakespeare with! AHEM! Yes, that's it. SHAKESPEARE! Now if only I can get rid of this allergy/cold, my upcoming days off will be a treat! Wish I were going somewhere to speak of, but there is always New Orleans for New Year's Eve. Hopefully.

Um, he's still president?!

Alright. I know there's lots of disappointed people out there. We're just gonna have to deal with Bushy four more years. He is our president after all, and we gotta stand behind him and support him as much as possible...until free speech, abortion, and gay rights are eliminated. GULP!

Election Day Hath Arrived

Well, it's here kids! The day that "we the people" choose our leader! Or so we've been lead to believe! AHEM! I had to vote for John Kerry, my conscience would not allow me to vote for George Bush who is a Bible-thumping freak and hates gays. I do like the fact he'll kill terrorists, but I'm sure Kerry will do the same when push comes to shove. The whole world is watching this, after all, what happens here affects everybody everywhere. We're the modern day Roman Empire folks! Plan and simple.

Halloween was cool, went to a club that featured predominantly shirtless gay men on ecstasy! I was hoping my co-worker Lord William would join Leslie and myself, but he flaked out last minute to go pursue other adventures. Whatever those may be! QUACK QUACK QUACK as the Howard Stern Show sound effect goes.

We're on pins and needles here, waiting for this election night to be done with. Sure hope enough people get laid while waiting for the returns, which reminds me, what did I do for lunch today hmmm? HEEHEEHEE!
