Terribly terribly sad news. Honestly. Anna Nicole Smith just could not get over her son's tragic death and has now succumbed herself. I genuinely liked Anna, found her extremely funny, and a hilarious disaster. But I never thought it would all end so soon or so sadly. The signs I guess were all there, but somehow I just didn't expect this. I used to love that reality show so much too, which is why I guess her death hits me more, 'cause I kinda felt like I knew her and those around her. She's gone. At the young age of 39.All so eerily similar to Marilyn Monroe...

BTW, is that an allusion to Elton john's "Candle In The WInd"? Must be, all the clues are there. Using her real nime (Norma Jean) and even likening her to Marilyn. You know MM's grave is in a little place in Westwood? Same Pierce Brothers houses Dean Martin, Jack Lemon, Walter MAtthew, Rodney Dangerfield, Armond Hammer (of no relation to baking soda) etc, etc, etc

I really find it all surreal. I loved that woman. Sure, she was a hot mess with a capital M, but she was obviously troubled, let alone losing her poor son not too long ago...
She was probably feeling so much pain due to her son's death that she OD'd... essentially killing herself...
Terribly sad.
