I just had a convo with a soldier about this war. This guy lives it, it got VERY intense and I said to him, I respect the troops and thank you. He replied how can you respect us when you arent for Bush, he is our commander in cheif. I politley told him that I couldnt speak to him about it anymore it just brings up all these issues, but please know that I do respect you.
Its just intense and you are so right about the times we are lving in. Politics give me SUCH a headache.
I can't believe it has been 4 years since I was ranting about how this is fucked up and the American public deserves everything it's short sightedness gets them. To lose so many of our troops, and to be responsible for a vastly greater number of Iraqi civilian casualties is....criminal.
