It's here! Dear God! I'm 30 years old!

I never thought I'd reach this day! My 30th freakin' birthday! It feels so surreal! So odd! Must be the allergy/cold I'm fighting as well, but besides that, I always felt so young, so invincible, and now it is all hitting me! I was born in 1974, with Nixon almost out of office, Vietnam winding down, and the oil crisis getting worse. Hmmm...not much has changed! LOLOLOLOLOL! Alas, the world has gotten better in many respects, but worse in so many others. I am grateful to be alive. Life is difficult. Yes indeedy oh. Ti's a great adventure however, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I thank God for the opportunity to be on this incredible planet, to share my life with other cool decent people, animals, and to learn from those dastardly souls who teach us a bit about how not to be or act. Terrorism, and its constant threat consumes my mind daily as does politics. Wow! When I was 20 or so, I really didn't care about this crap, now I try to be as informed a citizen as possible. Sex, musique, laughter, food, and sleep are wonderful! Life is worth living thanks to these great pleasures folks! Well, what can I say, as long as I have my mental, emotional, and physical health, I am a great winner indeed. 30! WOW! Can't get over this amazing fact. It'll take me another week or so to recover...
