OH GIVE ME A HOME, AND HEY DIDDLE DIDDLE.

Hell man. This is just sad. My hometown is the homeless capital of the United States! There are more homeless destitute people here than anywhere else in America! That's really tragic. This is the city (like New York) where people from all over the world come to find the American Dream! This is LA man! The entertainment capital of the world! And yet, an ugly side exists. Anyway, here's the depressing article if ya wanna read a bit more on this mess. Remember, no one is immune to homelessness, so be thankful for your humble little shelter/roof over yer head every day.

Now that you're all teary-eyed and/or literally weeping, I wanna share something fun with you. Here's some musical genius for ya ladies and gents; a band that perhaps surpasses the greatness of The Beatles themselves! I can't believe I just wrote that, but it's true! Okay, retarded, but still funny they be...

I give you:

The article says something needs to be done, but probably nothing will be and there should be an increase in homelessness over the next few years.
This shows the economical changes in our country and with more changes coming, there will be more homeless. Also, as my city planning professor documented, the figures on domestic violence as a cause is wrong. Many people don't list abuse as the reason for their situation, but on further examination, usually abuse comes into play at some point in these people's lives.
I could go on and on, but if you want to hear more, sit in on one of my city and urban development classes. My professor has lots to say on this subject.

Gee, and here I thought San Francisco held that "honor". I think we still have more per square block. It's always shocking to see so few in Manhattan these days. When I first started going to Santa Monica in the early 1980s, it was always a shock to run into them in an otherwise such a a pristine place. You expect it in gritty, gray eastern cities but not there.

Ah, yes, the Rutles. That faux doc had a feel of the recent Christopher Guest movies.

Ah yes "A Mighty Wind"! The rutles would be excellent fodder for Christopher Guest; they remind me of the three stooges( plus one).

Oh my god The Pre-fab four Dirk Stig Nasty and Barry. (lets not forget Leppo the fifth Rutle.)
I have everything they ever recorded. Neil Innes is a genius and a madman. Eric Idol was a client of mine when the Rutles made their second album. Eric was fast making a sequel to the first Mockumentary. The sequel was released and up on netflix if you dare. It was cobbled together from outtakes and footage from the 1979 TV mocumentary and infused with new interviews. I have to say upon the first -third viewing I thought it was utter crap. Around the fouth viewing I finally got it. They created a "NEW" documentary just like any one else does. There is nothing new from the Beatles so why should the Rutles be any diffrent. If this was about the Beatles it would have been fcreated in the same dissapointing way. The Rutles are not bigger than God but they are bigger than Rod (Stewart)

and all this time I thought San Fran had more homeless people. Sure looks worse when you visit there.

I can totally relate with your disappointment and overall sadness regarding this matter because we have plenty out here in New York...

I try to help whenever I can (I don't help the drunks) and this Thanksgiving I'm going to help at a local church (even though I hate churches) to serve the destitute and unfortunate.

Peace and love to all you bitches who don't have a place to stay. I feel for ya...
