A SHORT POST.

I had a shitty week. And an even shittier Friday the 13th. But it's a new day today Saturday. And I feel hopeful again. Yes. I'll be okay. I wish you all a great weekend. Thanks for stopping by to say hello. God bless. Life is too short and precious. Keep on living and loving:

I really wish this guy was still around to speak out against the crap we're going through:

sorry you had a shitty week...but yes, it is a new day and I hope it was a good one! very sad about tim r - man, one just never knows!! russert is the same age as my f... kind of sobering - but only reinforces my belief that we can 'go' at anytime, at any age....so best to life each day as if it might be our last and to be kind to those around us as if it was indeed our last day, it would suck if someone's last thought/impression was 'geez, that so-and-so was a real s.o.b'....okay it's late and obviously I shouldn't be philosophizing! anyhow, you have a better week next week! and keep on keeping on!! xxxxxxxxxxx

Hope your weekend has gone better than the week. I also want to get around to seeing "The U.S. vs. John Lennon". Has the week he and Yoko co-hosted the Mike Douglas Show ever made it to DVD? I have their Dick Cavett appearances which are amazing.

I've heard some really nasty comments about Russert being a weak journalist, kissing up to Bush, etc. I thought he wasn't terribly challenging, but at least he did seem a bit more gentlemanly and in this age of Limbaugh and FOX News at least not a complete wacko. He seemed like someone who probably was very nice personally, and I am sorry for such a sad Father's Day for his family.

Hope your weekend was better than your week. How are things moving in the teaching direction? Sounds like lately you need some inspiration and a little 'me' time.
