so i just pulled out my ram! (the album) and that was a masterpeice. "ram on" was my fav song from it. circa 1971. I can still remember listening to uncle albert over and over. Thou, I dont really like his new stuff too much.
Well, you can't compare the old stuff at all! Those were masterpieces. This new stuff is decent at best, but never to the level of "Admiral halsey notified me, he had to have a berth or he couldn’t get to sea, I had another look and I had a cup of tea and butter pie (the butter wouldn’t melt so I put it in the pie)..." Now that shit rocks!
I don't know why I am so drawn to this new album, it's so mellow and introspective and not even as good as 2001's "Driving Rain", but I guess I do like it a lot since I do keep listening to it.

I like the new album. It is the best he's come up with in recent years.
