I'm not a huge Harry Potter fan at all, but I can tolerate the films on DVD I guess. Haven't yet seen any of them on the big screen. The books/films have been quite successful indeed.
There is however, so much negative rhetoric against the books/films that is quite pervasive and ridiculous!
Do people actually believe this sh*t??!! ASTOUNDING! You'd have to be mentally deranged:

hey, I'm mentally deranged!
A bunch of raging douchebags smell all the money and face-time they'll get on fucking "Scarborough Country" if they make ridiculous claims about how Harry Potter is destroying the children. Pretty sad, but it's just opportunism.
Would atheist groups get the same face-time if they were to protest "Chronicles of Narnia" for its Jesus-lion?
I'm a huge Harry Potter fan (of the books; I don't care about the movies). It is stupid to be concerned about the books and how they might influence children. There are probably other influences that should be cut and are far more dangerous than good fantasy literature like Harry Potter. Fiction is fiction. Just teach your kids about fiction. Nobody is saying it is "the truth." Some Christians are brainwashed.
It was a great movie. Not as good as the other three.
Actually HP is a great book series and has a lot of good lessons within the book.
Funny people will hold up a sick movie like "Passion of the Christ" as great artistic work... yet anything with a hint of paganism is branded as the devil's tool.
I know when I dies I shall weep for them behind the golden gates at their folly.
