I'll tell ya why its the end of the world:
Last night i put my ipod on shuffle and the first song that came on was that damn CCR song.

I'm with Gavin, right on my tongue haahahaha.

Seriously, the end is coming for each of us regardless of world events, I for one wouldn't mind having some company with me when I go.Then I won't feel like I am missing out on anything. Is that selfish?

I get, "A general error has occurred."

:(

I feel like I'm on the impoverished side of the digital divide.

Question: How do you stick your dick into someone's voice?

I'm gettin gthe same "general error" message as Durante. I guess i'll just have to ask you to recite it to me in bed. Then I can show christopher how you stick your dick in someone's voice.

OK- it works from the laptop. At work it was a green bar look (windows media player I think?) and on the laptop it opened as a Quicktime application. Oh well, enough technical support.

The end of the world is a captivating notion; kind of a large scale version of 'where do we go when we die?' Morbid fascinations and congectures on both have defined lives and religions.

I can understand poeple thinking that a major plauge is the end of the world, or global warming and the death of bees from cell phone use (I swear I've heard it but haven't looked into it yet). But the end of the world because of a round number? Is your car going to die because the odometer turned 100,000? Maybe if it's a Ford...but really, round numbers only have significance in the human mind because we use a base-ten system. And why do we use a base-ten system instead of a base-twelve or base-15 system? because we have 10 fingers. Yes ladies and gentlemen, if math had started with Adam in the days of nudity we might have a base-21 counting system. Alas, the apple of knowledge caused them to cover up their nudity in shame and took away 11 of Adam's digits to count with. SO I guess the point to all that is that the year 1,000 or 2,000 only has meaning because of our peculiar way of counting, and only has significance in the Christian Calendar counting from when we think Jesus was born. If we're going Judeo-christian, shouldn't we be worried about multiples of seven? Seven days to create the world, seven deadly sins? But then there are 9 circles of hell according to Dante. And 8 Lords-a-leaping. FIIIIIIVE GOOLLLLDEEEEEN RIIIINGS.
