It's just pathetic. But I don't know which is more pathetic, the men, or the show that airs it.

From the get go this show is shifty. How can they bust these guys when they haven't talked to a minor. All the decoys are of age.
Yes predators should be stopped but at the same time that damn show should not be so shifty. Third party contractors that cannot be trusted or keep accurate records is not the way for dateline to operate. I wonder if these guys ever did this before with a minor and how many are doing it for the first time? Just a thought.
What if you knew from the get go it was a set up and brought your own crew to document it?

Unlike the the Larry Craig sting, I agree that the police have the right and should be entrapping men that seek out sex with minors. They are predators and a threat to society. TV shows that air it with a self-righteous tone of helping society and bringing criminals to justice are predators themselves. They are preying on the lurid interests of people that don't have the energy or curiosity to explore more important issues.

The pedophiles are criminals and should be brought to justice. They are horrible human beings but still human beings that deserve some shred of dignity and do not need to be used as free fodder for lame "news" shows to film in order to boost the ratings of a program that lacks the creativity and insight to cover bigger issues.

Go to Darfur not cul de sacs in the San Fernando Valley you inept journalists!

TV has sunk to a new low by making shows like that. The only predator in those shows is NBC. I mean who really wants to watch that sick shit. It just feeds on the hysteria of this country.

I agree with Bill on this.
